Crafting Fun with Friends!!

We had so much fun in our technique class this month. These are some of the cards we made. I love the way everyone put their own spin on the card design. We used the Emboss Resist technique and the Reason to Smile stamp set(no longer available)to create this card.

I'm Back!

Yes, I am back in more was then one. Here are a couple of pics from convention 2012. The first is me with just two of the stamps sets SU gave us at convention. The second is with some of my great friends and sidelines, Chris and Beth, in front of the convention theme board.
I learned so much there and I am so excited to get back into my business and on with life. I know I sell the product but Stampin' Up! really has GREAT products. I learned much about our new products (the new trimmer available soon and the silicone pad) and ideas I didn't realize about items that have been around. You will probably be seeing more items using our fabric here on my blog. I didn't know you could do so much with it, and without actually sewing.
I will be posting a couple of times a week from here out. For those that are new to my blog welcome. For those who have been hanging in with me during this difficult time I thank you, your support is greatly appreciated. Life is moving on thanks to you my friends.

Yummy in My Tummy!

Doesn't this look delicious enough to eat? I had so much fun making this card. Calypso Coral is one of my all-time favorites and it goes so well with this card. In fact I used all of the 2011-2013 In Colors to make this card.
Just a reminder, our 2010-2012 In Colors will be retiring this year. If you loved them get them before they retire. The colors I used will be around for another year. Not sure about you but I am already getting excited to see what new colors we offer this year.

Baby Wipe anyone?

It was my mom's birthday this weekend and this is the card I created for her.
I got to play with many of my new products from our Occasions mini. I used both of the new Big Shot Framelets Labels and Edgelets Adorning Accents and the new Impressions folders to match. I used two of our new stamp sets, the Apothecary Art and the P.S. I Love You.
The colors I chose were two of our current in-colors Island Indigo and Pool Party along with some of the DSP from Everyday Enchantment in the Sale-a-bration catalog. I added a glimmer brad with some Calypso Coral Organdy ribbon, also from Sale-a-bration.

Coffee Sleeve Mini Album

I just had to share this with all of you. I made this but the idea came from my side line Elysia Coster. We had a great time earlier this month when our group, the Icy Inkers lead by Jill Coleman, got together and had a stamp camp of sorts. Everyone, ten of us, brought a different craft and all the supplies for each of us create it and we all took turns making the different items. I came home with ten fun creative ideas. I may share some of the others at later dates.
This is a mini album and was created using a coffee cup sleeve. I just though that was so ingenious. What do you think? What different products do you use to create with?
