Faux Alligator paper clip purses

HI, I saw this idea over at Stampin Connection by Jacqueline Nimrichter and thought they were so cute that I had to make some myself. I changed them some as I have also been wanting to try the faux alligator technique. So I combined the two ideas and this is the results. I think they turned out cute also. I will be taking them to swap tomorrow night with my upline and sidelines at our meeting. Can't wait to show them to them. I hope they like them. If you would like to learn how to do this technique just let me know, I would love to share, it is very easy.
Happy Crafting Everyone!!!!!!!

Pages One and Two

Finally, I was able to work on my album again. I had a busy week this week substituting and wasn't able to get back to my album. But, here are pages one and two. What do you think? I am still excited about this project. I has been fun going through photos and recalling the fun we have had together. I am a "pick the photos and then design the page" kind of person I have realized. I have made a couple of 6x6albums and then placed pictures in them but had no particular photos in mind when I made them. But with this album, and others I have made I generally pick the pictures I want in the album and then design the pages around the pictures. I think it is more difficult and time consuming this way but it works for me most of the time.
Since I have the pictures pretty much set for the rest of the album the next pages shouldn't take as long for me to post.
I hope you enjoy them.

Excited about Heart Album cover!!!!!

I am so excited!!! Can you tell? I purchased one of the On Board Heart books from the Occasions Mine awhile back and I am just now starting on it. I just finished the cover. What do you think? I am going to make this album pictures of Henry, My Sweety, and I to display at our wedding in July. It will cronical our years together from when we met six years ago and some of the fun things we have done. Keep checking back for more pages as I complete them.

That Easel Card

Here is the easel card I mentioned yesterday. I made it to congratulate my mother on her one year anniversery of not smoking. I am so proud of her.
For those in my club we will be making an easel card in March at Jeans workshop. Hope you all can make it. They are so easy and fun. I like the way they show themselves off.
Take care and Happy Crafting!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day

I know I have been slow at blogging this month. Here is the card I made for my sweetheart for today. I borrowed the idea from my upline, Jill, who says she got the idea from an add for Country Living magazine. Ideas are everywhere when you let your mind find them. I have found that I am starting to notice things like that, I just haven't gotten to the point of actually creating the things I see yet. I know that it will come in time though.
For those who are just starting out in rubber stamping, it took me awhile, about a year, before I started getting creative on my own. When I wanted to make something I would spend much time on the computer looking for something I could make or as some call it CASE (Copy and Share everything.)So I say, don't be afraid to look around and get ideas from others, eventually you also will be creating your own designs and crafts.
I will share a card tomorrow that I designed myself. The idea I got from my upline, Jill, but the design is my own. It will be one of those ever popular easel cards.
Happy Crafting!!!!
